Self Initiated (Inventure Changemakers Challenge)

As the founder of 'Behtar VSA', our project for the Inventure Changemaker Challenge 2021, I led an initiative to transform plastic waste into a sports court base. The project involved multiple stages—starting with forming a strong team, getting school approval, and enrolling in the Changemaker Challenge. We organized a school-wide plastic collection drive, raised ₹20,000 through a student-led bake sale, and connected with architects, suppliers, and KK Plastic Factory for technical guidance. We also pitched our idea during the competition and were selected among the Top 10 teams nationally, receiving ₹30,000 in funding to pilot our project. Throughout the challenge, we attended intensive mentorship sessions where we learned how to pitch effectively, manage finances, and execute projects. This experience taught me leadership, collaboration, budgeting, and how to turn an idea into real-world impact.
