SPARK NGO

The SPARK Initiative is a student-led NGO focused on supporting underprivileged children in Bangalore, India. We work with orphanages and government schools to provide important learning resources and opportunities. As the Head of Event Management, I led several fundraising and donation drives. I successfully organized bake sales at school events like football matches and plays, and led book drives where we collected and donated books to a government school in Yelahanka. With the funds raised, we helped set up a small library for the students. Through this experience, I learned how to handle event challenges, lead teams, and problem-solve under pressure. I also learned to work within budget limits and gained insights into marketing, using social media and word of mouth to bring more people to our events. Most importantly, it taught me the value of community service and helped me grow as a leader.
